The 1660 BT communicates to the host computer via its easy to install plug and play USB Transponder, no driver software needs to be loaded. The 1660 BT can also be interfaced with any Bluetooth equipped device.

The 1660 BT cordless portable scanner uses 2 AAA Alkaline or 2 AAA NiMh rechargeable batteries (not included) when used remotely in its special "Memory Mode" for asset collection or stock taking purposes. Bar codes stored in the 1660's non-volatile memory can be downloaded to the host computer when the 1660 BT is brought within range of the Cipher 3610 Bluetooth Transponder.

Unlike some other portable readers that only collect data the MS2200 ROV can also be used as a conventional scanner when not required for stocktaking. With USB HID connection NO additional software is required to download standard memory content. 

This new, easy to use Class 1 Laser scan engined based bar code reader is now available for remote use to store bar codes in its onboard non-volatile memory and also to double up as a tethered desk top scanner for normal day to day use.

The ROV MS2200 uses 3 AAA Alkaline or NiMh rechargeable batteries (not included) for power when used remotely for asset collection or stock taking purposes. Bar codes stored in memory can be downloaded to the host computer when the ROV is reconnected to the interface cable.

When used with Windows XP service pack 2 or greater the ROV USB/HID cable makes installation of the MS2200 a simple plug and play affair.

The ROV MS2200 is also supplied with a Santoprene® boot that can be optionally fitted as illustrated to provide for cable retention and additional shock and drop protection if required. The ROV MS2200 is ideal when used for library stock taking applications including Bookmark.
